PGGM Launches HF Platform

PGGM is looking to invest directly in selected hedge funds to raise transparency and reduce costs, IPE reports. The €100 billion asset manager will invest through segregated managed accounts rather than pooled funds.
It has partnered with Lyxor Asset Management to manage the operations, technology and infrastructure of its platform. PGGM will re-allocate part of the present investments in funds of hedge funds and the new investments will also be pooled through the platform.
